As fitted to the pre 83 MK3 Ghia's with the chrome trims and centre cap you are after I do like the look of your Mk3 in gold. Volksy Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 One thing that strikes me as odd is why Ford put the wood trim in the Escorts and not the same age Orions I think that the escort Ghia was more of a Luxury Spec, given that they had the XR3, XR3i, RS1600i and RS Turbo to cover the sporty side of the range, whereas the Orion Ghia Inj had to cover both the luxury and sports market, well I guess until the 1600e came out with the MKIV Orion. I know the 5 door estates didI think the Mk3 estates only went up to GL trim, you could get a Mk4 Ghia estate though I think.
