Jerzy Woking
Just done some costings - train is £203. EasyJet £37.00. I can find no excuse not too...........I hope my mate really wants it. Incidentally my GSX-R1000 does 105mph in first gear (and I still have my licence). Jazoli

Jerzy Woking
Collected today, but no photo thread. Nice bike, and seller (good to meet you). Big bonus was i also had a lesson in how to properly filter used veg oil - not as expensive to do as I was led to believe. Anyway, seven and a half hours to ride home from MMR's to Chez Whysub in Essex, dry all the way, even with sun in Scotland. This is the second bike purchased from AS'ers, so maybe four wheels next time - unless someone knows where there's a Jawa 350 for sale. Jerzy Woking
A mate has an Enfield fitted with a Briggs & Stratton lump out of a cement mixer. Hardly fast but 200 mpg. Saw hardly any chod yesterday on my ride through Scotland -except a white, K reg Volvo 240 estate, and a navy blue L reg 214 Rover. I thought the roads of Scotland were paved with chod and the SVM? andy18s
Chap in Ireland fits a Diahatsu 3cyl td into Triumph Tigers but they aren't cheap..And if you can find 1 the US military use a Kawasaki KLR650 fitted with a diesel Jerzy Woking
Jerzy Woking
For those with a diesel bike favouring..... I had this printed onto a black t-shirt. It certainly wasn't appreciated by some H-D riders, although B & S did make their own motorcycles. Cavcraft

Jerzy Woking
Could have saved me a few quid BUT I would not have had the pleasure of giving it a lengthy ride, learning about veg, and seeing Scotland in sunshine!!!
