dome
Greetings Earthlings I have consumed almost enough red wine to make the reality of what I have just done seem less painful. Tomorrow I set off on a quest. This quest will be long well about 4 miles actually and will involve me collecting a thing of much beigeness, with added shonk. It is plastic, and was once favoured by a certain member of the Royal Family. Did I mention it's beige? The MOT can be measured with a sundial and it's barely moved in 3 years. WCPGW? In true autoshite fashion, I'm perusing ebay in search of an 8 track to fit to it as a priority. More to follow in the morning.... fred, rml2345, Craig the Princess and 11 others

Guest Breadvan72
Goddammit, man, it's almost 9 AM and still not even a photograph of the back end of a bus station, let alone a ruined old dog. OK, apart from Princess Anne. The Moog, Vince70, Banger Kenny and 1 other
dome
T minus 2 hours to collection. Current status: in bed. Current mood: bemusement at my latest purchase, and slightly turned on by a young Princess Anne. dome
Well, here goes. My good lady was spoken to nicely and persuaded to give me a lift in her horrible German bubble car lovely Audi. You know you're going to the right place when these are outside... Old boy was nice, gave me some bits and pieces and history/manuals/Autodata book etc. Off I went. It'll take a bit of getting used to driving something this old again... You dirty tease you... Money shot! Girl at the petrol station asked if I was off to the classic car show and how old it was. Older than me was my reply. Obviously a fanny magnet... Fluids checked, air in the tyres and off home. First impressions? Feels fairly tight without being crashy-it's got Spax adjustables. Brakes seem to work, engine pulls well and the overdrive works. Coolant was a bit low so need to keep an eye on that. Sound nice though with pops on the overrun Mechanically seems OK, the bodywork is a different story though. Interior needs some work-I have the centre console but it's damaged. Tape player didn't like Queen. Off now to give it a clean... Hawkeyethenoo, rml2345, vulgalour and 23 others

mercrocker
These keep coming up on my radar, usually when I have the latest welding receipt in front of me...Not being overly nitpicky but I would want a proper fuel line clip on that filter given the propensity for these cars to self-immolate.
