2000 Ford Puma 1.7 manual

MOT until 13 Aug 2015

85k miles, with Service history to 79000.

Car drives brilliantly- great fun coupe with good handling, decent power and good fuel economy.

Interior in excellent condition with no rips or tears, Electric windows/CD player work.
Central locking works.

Engine is good- pulls really well throughout the rev range, and very economical.
Gearbox and drive train in good order.

4x Good Tyres on Millennium Edition wheels (worth £120)

Brakes work really well.

Comes with 2 keys- master and coded spare key

Faults:
ABS light on- suspect a faulty sensor
Knock from Front Left over bumps- ARB has snapped where the droplink goes in- 2nd hand one is £25 on ebay.
Arches have been tidied and primed but need to be painted to match the car

May need welding at rear of sill on both sides
No v5 present, but full Receipt will be given, and v62 form is present so you can apply for a new v5.

May consider swaps- WHY?

I test drove one while I owned the Green Tiger BX. It was an absolute revelation in the clutch and gearchange department. Still not sure how I talked myself out of buying it.

 

yep-gearleaver has a nice short throw. Can deliver to South wales for veg oil cost..

 

much better than some ropey old burd called Dyane;)

Putting this up for raffle- usual script, 49 tickets at £7 a pop. I had it up for £450 but need it moved on

 

However, I'm going to pick one number as mine, in the event of it being the bb, I'll donate it to a victim* of my choosing..

 

I'm picking 19.

Is it the roll bar that is broken or the roll bar link?

 

I still have memories of many a swearword throw at Puma and Zetec-S ARB bush replacement as a young(ish) apprentice.

tis the rollbar that is broken- shockingly for an early noughties ford it appers to have rusted away!
