Jerzy Woking
My great-niece has reached 17 and is now riding an Aprilia RS125 (good girl!) so her redundant 50cc scooter is now up for sale. Registered in 2005, 8,400 recorded kms, usual parking scuffs and knocks, left panel cracked (all done when in the care of the previous owner, not by my great niece!) but excellent runner. Good tyres, rear luggage rack, SORN'd MOT to September, but will come with a new MOT and two keys. Excellent for popping to the shops as lots of room under the seat, or commuting to work/station. Not sure if it has been derestricted, but it flies with her on it (she's a slight girl, not a big fat bloke like me). Looking for £450 but of course price negotiable for AS's. Scooter in North Essex near Braintree, but could deliver for the price of my diesel (at 35mpg). saucedoctor, purplebargeken and Cavcraft

Jerzy Woking
My mate used Spry Crisp and Dry cooking oil in his Suzuki GT250 when he had no money for two stroke oil.........smelt great (just like Castrol R from what I remember) but it gummed everything up

D Spares & Tyres
Do you know what make the fuel pump is?
Jerzy Woking
When you are 17 and skint 2MB, everything is worth a go. Like opening up the ports with some nasty bastard files to gain a bit more powar! Then finding too much metal has been removed which has caused the rings to snap. Oh, happy days of blissful nechanical ignorance. No idea what fuel pump is on there, but I'm sure it will pump diesel OK**. **see Automotive Bull5hite Thread

Barry Cade
The lion goes from strength to strength, takes your breath away etc etc. What could be better than an amalgamation of an old Vauxhall and a base model Mini. GLWTS!
UltraWomble
Basic 'rithmetic of 255 miles and 25 MPH means a 10.5 hour ride back. And probably 3 tanks of fuel. Jerzy Woking
Jerzy Woking
That would be an awesome ride - I'm jealous! I'm going to ride to Czech Republic next year (probably somewhere West of Prague) on a 125cc scooter, or a Jawa 350 if I can find one. No motorways, just cross country(s). About 2000 miles in all. I love long rides on bikes that I really shouldn't ride that distance.
