Ok, here is my conundrum regarding Rover 75s
I currently own the former Wilko220 and PBK Rover 75 Connoisseur (2.5 V6) with just 67k from new, its runs a dream and is proving totally reliable. It does need a new windscreen before long and the 3 speed cooling fan needs replacing (although it does not overheat). It was pensioner owned for the first 10 years and has had a small fortune spent in up keep from new.
I have the chance of buying a Primrose yellow Rover 75 connoisseur, which you may or may not know are rare as rocking horse poo poo, but the primrose car is a little tatty, a short MOT and needs some attention here and there. It has also done 67k from new but with very little in the way of service history.
I have not yet discussed figures with the primrose owner but he is aware it needs some work and from speaking to him I would hope to snap up the primrose for about Ã‚Â£500.
The problem is I love my blue 75 and really do not want to part with it, but I dont really have the finances or the room for two 75's at the moment. When will another primrose come up for sale, and just 2 miles round the corner??
