Guest
Don't like these..never have done: So why did you waste the space on your memory card then? Love the Ro80, GSA and Royale. 323 looks nice too
retrogeezer
So why did you waste the space on your memory card then ? Just coz it looked unloved and different from the zillions of restored ones you see.
Dukestar25
Weren't these the air-cooled models or was that just the Visa? Lovin that Ro80. Did it still have a Rotary engine in it?
reallyloud
The Ro80 is an inspired find, kudos to the owner for using it over the winter too. I have to say I have never seen the earlier twin headlamp version on the roads, always seems to be the (arguably) better looking square headlamp type. The GS looks familiar, I'm sure I've seen it at a show somwhere. I believe the GS had air cooled lumps and they sold a small number with Rotary engines too. Those Mazdas seem to be popping up everywhere - quite a few seemed to have survived. I also have a secret desire to own a basic spec mk3 Cavalier saloon one day, ideally in blue. I think they're well balanced looking cars.
michiel
Nice Ro indeed, but that last one (I guess it's an Alvis?), gorgeous!
carlo
Some lovely spots there, especially like that black DS.GS's certainly were air cooled, and a lovely noise they made too. I'm sure that blue one you spotted is being run by Classic & Sportscar, certainly looks familiar anyway. And isn't it amazing, the RO 80 could easily pass for a new car design over 40 years since its launch, especially from the rear. Mr_Bo11ox
That green dolly is interesting, was that round crewe? There is one of that age, colour and approximate spec living round the corner from me, I believe it belongs to a mad old fella as it always has a crazily-applied cat piss tarp over it including individual hubcap mini-tarps! I thought it never went off his driveway but it looks like maybe it does.

Electric Leyland
I put an autoshite card on the GSA!!Oh it was you! At Christmas, in Crewe. I just remembered, I got an email from the fella exclaiming joy and surprise at the AS card that had been delivered, he thought it was put there by me. Funnily enough I was in Stoke at the time visiting the rellies, only a stones throw away.Top spottage by the way. Adore the Ro80 and the Sherpa camper. Hertz
This looks like the garage near me on the way to Middlewich. They have a few bits of "shite" there at the moment. According to the bird behind the till the owner has seen an opportunity with the credit crunch to try and flog some bargain basement motors....
