simmo
I worked at a Peugeot dealers when 505s were still being made and can't ever remember seeing a V6 one, the injection 604 V6s were quite fiddley on a lot of under bonnet tasks.

Owain-328i
I cant understand why theres a big demand over in affrica for them? Its big and french and clearly going to break! I thought the chief choice for the affrican export market are big old mercs?

reallyloud
Another reason for the import of expired Mercs, Peugeots and RWD Japanese stuff is the fact most of the UK cars have relatively low mileages and the basic carb fed ones can be easily maintained. I quite like the saloon versions not seen one in ages.
Richard
I don't think they sold many of them. I'm only aware of ever having seen one.
Rocket88
505's are about the last decent large car Peugeot made. I had a GTI [1.9] Bouight it for £250, ran it for 2 years, never lifted the bonnet, sold it for £250, bought it back again a year later for £50, ran it for another year. Brilliant cars, especially if you can find a turbo diesel one.
BrianDamaged
Here's my ol' man's 505 GTDT.It so nearly became mine this year, until he put a towbar on his £200 P-reg Pug Partner van then discovered they were absolute pants at towing car trailers.
