The Old Bloke Next Door
September 2000, four door, 5 owners,1.8 petrol, 5 speed, 120.000 ish miles. mot expired last month, runs and drives well. Its a rather grim shade of green, with a well used beige cloth interior. Body is very good apart from a dent on the bonnet, Two very good front tyres, good battery, Volvo 10 stack cd player,1/4 tank of fuel.Intermittent rattle under cam covers, mains rumble until oil warning light goes out, engine oil looks filthy, but is up to level, coolant up to level, service light is on. Did not overheat on a two mile run to my place, no smoke or back pressure, heater works well. 5000 miles since last mot, two advisories, o/s/f brake pad thin and o/s/r tyre close to limit Ideal spares car if you already have/are considering buying one. £150 will buy this former superb example of Swedish/Japanese technology. The Old Bloke Next Door
Thanks for the bump. I've had an offer of £136 from a cartakeback type of site. If anyone wants it for £135 minus the battery, get in touch before next Tuesday. Forgot to mention, its got air-con and locking wheel nuts.
