Such a cool car!

I took it out for a leisurely Sunday drive!

For what you paid that is a bargain. Stone cold future classic, especially anniversary model.

I got the new slave cylinder fitted today, what a faff that was! The old one was pretty much welded in there having been in there for so long. I removed the circlip holding it in place and hoped to just tap the old cylider out but I ended up having to smash fuck out of it with a mallet while using stilsons to twist it back and forth to work it free.

Eventually got it out and the new one fitted in easily enough, got it bled and now I have a working clutch again.

I believe it's a 2.1

if the 1986cc is the same as the engine fitted in a 360 I may need the water pump.

The early big bumper cars usually had the 2.1 ‘red block’ engine. Yours looks like a B21a engine.

It’s the same basic engine as the later 200’s, 360’s, 700’s and 900’s used but just a different capacity and different carb’s/injection systems (which is what the letter at the end of engine type code means) and the distributor was different on later versions of the red block engine.

Most other bits, including the water pump should be the same.
