Great news, I bought a second hand fuel pump relay from ebay and now the car runs.
I've yet to pick up the new fuel pipes from Mercedes so hopefully get them today or tomorrow and get it running without pissing fuel everywhere.

I think that's the majority of welding finished on the 240D, I did the jacking points and rear inner arches last weekend then welded a rear arch in tonight.

Quality work as ever man. Can't pretend I'm not disappointed that there wasn't a welding montage video with and interesting soundtrack though.
