Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk I have joined it, and unless some sense prevails here, I may just park my heaps on your drive for a bit. Sorry about the neighbours. There may be some hope: I gather that the UN have opened negotiations with the hijacker. The size of the ransom demand is not yet clear. Cheers! DodgyBastard
FOAD, I joined the New Brown Forum, made one post asking a question about navigating the forum and have now been banned? Any idea why? ThanksBenI was under the impression that you had no interest in joining the new forum from something you said on autoshite. Info. If that isn't the case and you do have an interest in old cars then please let me know. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk

I got it from Mrs Foads work, they were throwing it out. I might have one set of shelves left.

DodgyBastard
Nearly got the place all cleared up. Tat cave by srblythe, on Flickr Derskines Tat Cave was previously used as an office until we moved in and he filled it full of car parts from the various cars he has broken. Part of the clean up operation was to tidy it out and put some shelves up.Yesterday when we arrived, Derskine had removed most of the offices contents and had set about ripping it apart. After smashing fuck out of the office this is the almost finished result. DodgyBastard
Had a look at the new car DSC_0566 by srblythe, on Flickr DSC_0564 by srblythe, on Flickr Initially I bought the ZX for the engine but found it was a good usable car which needed some welding for the test, this on the other hand I will feel very little remorse for if I rip the engine out and fit it to the 305. Supernaut
How is the torsion bar rear end that low? Flipped over completely? I knew there were some idiots on the 306 forums but that's amazing. Shame it's a sedan that met that fate.
DodgyBastard
I sold the c15 on Saturday. DSC_0575 by srblythe, on Flickr It was a great little van and will be missed but it's away up to the north of Scotland to be used as a makeshift camper, thankfully the new owner is a little bit shorter than me so might actually stand a chance of fitting inside it. I decided that I can't really be arsed swapping the 306 td engine into my 305 at the moment, it needs too much work as it is and I'd be best focusing my efforts in sorting out everything else before thinking about engine swaps. I'm going to try selling the 306, it would seem that an almost undrivable stupidly low 306 is quite popular with the youth of today but if it doesn't sell I would be as well removing the engine and storing it away for a rainy day. DSC_0579 by srblythe, on Flickr I've been trying to have a bit of a fleet clear out lately, I sold the Rover, renault 18, Carlton and c15 but having a bit of extra cash burning a hole in my pocket meant that when I saw this, I knew what had to be done. DSC_0619 by srblythe, on Flickr DSC_0620 by srblythe, on Flickr DSC_0623 by srblythe, on Flickr It's a bit ropey but with mot until April next year it'll do the job for any shite shifting requirements. I'm not sure how much it will help to thin the fleet out but the truck will almost pay for itself going by the costs I've had to pay to transport cars over the years.I've went halfs on the truck with Nisfan at £600 each and I think Derskine might chip in too which will bring the cost down further. trigger, Sigmund Fraud, drum and 21 others

DodgyBastard
Fortunately it doesn't come with the knackered Astra on the back of it. DSC_0622 by srblythe, on Flickr It's not as tidy up close, mot history is interesting...It's had a shitload of welding over the cab and chassis over the last few years and the front wheel arches/wings resemble some of the *quality welding on my old Tata Loadbeta. With the availability of replacement panels I'm sure I'll be able to weld new ones in and tidy it up a bit.Should I go for RAC orange or AA yellow to go for that legitimate recovery look? Sigmund Fraud
What you really need, is to turn this into a faithful* replica of the Ecurie Ecosse transporter ! ECURIE EC***E signwriting is optional, and bound to be a hit* in classic shows.
BavarianRetro
You can get every panel for those. They don't fit very well though. I spent a lengthy period, lots of gas and a reel of wire welding my pal's one up over the winter.
somewhatfoolish
What you really need, is to turn this into a faithful* replica of the Ecurie Ecosse transporter ! For that authentic earbleeding roots blower howl it needs a Detroit or a Foden 2 stroke transplant. For a less authentic earbleeding noise just have one of these and get your passenger to wind it up in synchrony with the engine revs. Sigmund Fraud

twosmoke300
Check the throttle flap is wide open on full throttle and the arm on the pump also hits its stop with the pedal to the floor .
