Princess Diana, a life in cars

Lots & lots of newly-qualified drivers have accidents because they don't know how to slow down properly on wide bends. Can't understand why driving instructors don't explain that one properly.

However. Now for something a bit different, talking of tragedies. Today is the 20th anniversary of the Lockerbie murders which made Christmas 1988 so dreadful. But you have yet to see the most horrific atrocity of them all, which came as a direct result of that act of terror:

Art lovers & anybody with good taste: you are strongly advised NOT to go there. You have been warned! :(

Thing is you lose something the size of an s class and you're not going to catch it anyway! Once the back end starts to fish tail its only a matter of time before you hit something.

When the back stepped out he should have thown it on lock and planted it for some sideways tunnel drift action. Big cars rock for high speed sideways-ness.

After a bit of research, it went to a museum (in 1998), the guy apparently had offers of £2,000,000 ( ) though...

In other more recent news (2005...) the (old) pope's MkII went for a bargain £340,000, so much for SCENE TAX etc...
