I'm not sure if I've told you about when we had an AX Splash and a Volvo: We needed to get both cars from Kent to West Sussex

and started out with me in the Volvo and MrsDS in the Splash. After a few miles I stopped to see what the problem was as she kept getting left behind. "I can't keep up with you" - Ok, so we swapped cars... she still couldn't keep up. :)

Shock news! I have sold the CX2500 I/E Pallas!

Last picture I have 7th October.

Its new owner collects it 1st Nov. So now I have to fix my CX2400 I/E Pallas if I want to keep CX motoring.

I visited the garage who have my Gamma today and found them working on it!

It needs an Exhaust box across the rear of the car.

Strange sight in my favourite garage, I glanced into my car as I arrived to see a five pound note stapled to the MOT!

My 200TE had been there for a bit of welding, service and MOT.

The next glitch was google maps on my Samsung phone saying walk down this street a bit further and turn left, then it could not find me and when it did it said you have walked a long way past the street you needed!

In the end the seller drove out and found me, I then found myself getting into a blacked out van with a man I didn't know in a strange part of London.

The Fuel was just above red so I stopped for diesel on the embankment and for the restart it turned slowly and soon had a flat battery. I had to push it off the pump.

My phone was down to 3% so no more live breakdown posts, with my last volt I called the AA!

The AA man put a jump pack on it and it would not start turning rather slowly, easy start and it would still not go, then the long jump leads from the Van and it went. He put his tester on it and said the alternator was giving 14v but the battery was no good.

Now the sales pitch, I can replace that for you he said. Me won't that be rather expensive from you, the reply it has a 5 year guarantee and the bit that rubbed me up the wrong way, if you choose to drive it home and need a jump again you won't be covered now the fault had been diagnosed and you have not taken the appropriate action.

The next problem was I needed the toilet on the A40 I stopped at a BP garage but did not dare turn it off after what the AA man said, so went inside and left the car unlocked running in a parking bay.

£80 my mate paid AA for a roadside battery. It wasn't even a battery fault either....I can still annoy him by bringing that one up.

Neat save too. Ultimate WBOD?

Buying and driving Euro shit since 2016.
