So I sold the CB500 - nice, but kept giving me hip pain.

Thought I wanted a smol car. And I do want a smol car. But you know how it is.

Can I just say - whilst it may be considered trendy to mount the tyre on the bonnet it is

i) Super heavy to lift the bonnet up - esp when the fooking thing has no stay.

ii) Super shit for forward visibility.

It does however have rather groovy cabinets on the sides for welly boots (!) and a butty carrier on the front wings.

Hmmm.  Relief from hip pain.  Get a Landrover.  That would not have occurred to me  :-D .  Maybe the coil sprung ones are kinder to the spine.

Looks quite a mean machine in matt green

The pain will now transfer itself to the lumbar region(shit seats), knees(why's the handbrake hitting me in the knee?) and elbows(this becomes obvious within 5 minutes of driving one with the OE steering wheel and keepfit steering).

iii)When the apparently nonexistent collapso-strut collapses under the eleventy million tonne load of the spare wheel it gives you a hurty head.

SLOW is fitted as standard.

N/A LR dizzles only go SLOOOOWWWW, you need a turbot to go as fast as SLOW. LOUD and VIBRATORY are also standard.

As is rust

Yes. And oil leaks.

Well I like it, but then I would. Lovely patina on the engine, is it made from bronze?

Nup.

That's the colour for a military refurbished engine. My dad's Series 1 he's restoring has the engine painted the same colour. Means it isn't the original engine (but in an ex-military vehicle that can only be a good thing).

Just got home. Yet again the c2 has behaved itself on a nigh on 400 mile round trip. Bike staying on trailer tonight, trailer and bike going to a secure location tomorrow morning.

Hurrah for the trailer tent love. It's amazing how much warmer it is sleeping on a raised bed than on the floor as you do on a tent. I really need to believe this as ours is having it's first outing this year at the weekend just as the night time temperatures have dropped to winter levels....

In terms of autoshiting our, I do keep meaning to attach at least another leg to the bed side. At the trailers age and my weight some extra reassurance would be welcome. If I do get round to actually fettling it I'll start poor mans caravan thread for it.
