FFS that Austins less rusty than mine (in places), about 30 miles away and currently £50.  It might be worth buying for the starter motor and some repair panels.

The main tat thread has shown us that an 1100 will fit in a Luton van and I have one available.

I don't think I could break it though,  it would look too sad :(

Man up. It's in a JCB bucket for gods sake, if you can use it for parts then just get it, you can't save them all, and I guarantee you that if you don't get the use from it then will end up in a crusher, starter motor and all....

To be fair it is just on the forks of a 4in1 bucket

One of the funniest things ive read on here - RIP Dave

Quote

Brilliant... late in for lunch I fired up an off-brand pot noodle and while carrying it to the lounge successfully spilled it all over myself, burned the piss out of my hand, soaked my phone with the juice, soaked a load of expense receipts I was also carrying and it hit the hall floor and just fucking exploded....it was literally dripping from the ceiling in my newly decorated hallway. The obvious and considered reaction was to throw an immediate, massive paddy and boot the fucker down the hall while screaming, which has made the whole scenario about 18 times worse.

Ah, but it's got singing headrests, shirley they must add to the value.

Ooh, and signed engine and gearbox. Signed by who I wonder? If it's Colin Chapman that adds even more.

That Lotus is worth about 2.5p, the door handles are about the only thing salvageable, what a cunt. Seller is also clearly a dealer and is wanting daft money for parts that are rotten & fucked. Clearly needs sending through the crusher themselves

He's got another for £1500 that's equally devoid of usable parts, but doesn't come with a melted engine. Also 207 people are viewing this per hour. Methinks we're not the only ones pointing at the mentalist.

That buggy is mind blowing I bet the reliant front end is connected to the rest of the body work with wood screws. It should burn nice though on the plus side.
