My Skoda Favorit thread. Rear wiper fixificated!

Felly Magic

Recommended Posts

Well i've bought the fuck out of that white Favorit, and would you Adam N Eve it, it's only from the same main stealer as the Felly! Got a fair bit of cosmetic work to do on it, along with sorting a spare wheel and tyre, and sacking off the 'Gary Boy' side exhaust. MOT'd til November, and sorry no petrol station shot cos when i collected it, it had 2/3 of a tank of juice! Drives nicely, pulls well, and has some LOL-age stickers in the back window

At it's old owners in Braintree

WIN!!!!!!!!

I burst out laughing when I saw the numberplates and dealer stickers, and SWMBO gasped, and couldn't believe it. This car was a fucking steal what I paid too, I won't reveal the price sadly, as respect to my friend who sourced me it, but put it this way, I'd have been a complete moron to say no!!!

When the 'haggis' Ex went on my 130 Rapid, I was in Weymouth... I drove up and down each week on Mileage Expenses... so I called at the local Ex place and asked them to 'improve' the Exhaust arrangements.

... they welded the twin down pipe into a y-fork.. added a short spaghetti 's'.. and lobbed on a Mklll Cortina back box (likely mouldering on their shelves somewhere). Fitted completely under the splash plate no cutting/bodging.

I was very happy with the outcome   :-P

Hubcaps on their way for it, as well as spare wheel, parcel shelf mounts and parcel shelf repaired in true Autoshite style, using bits of wood and lots of screws, and old shoelaces which would make any gifferbodger proud. Photos tomorrow

I'm well happy with it. It will get cleaned up and the broken bits sorted as & when funds allow. I also found the original toolkit in the boot, which has 2 spanners in, a box spanner, Philips/flat blade screwdriver & wheelbrace, still wrapped in the tool roll. The jack is missing though :(

Done a bit of 'gifferbodging' to the parcel shelf area, as it was seriously fubbed. Note the use of lots of wood and screws and matt black paint!! Also gave the rusty quarterlight strips a coat of paint too
