Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon - is it good?

I have! I have! Some neat prototypes there, as well as the usual sand glow and tahati blue coloured gems - the collection is rarely updated, so a visit once every 10 years should just about do it - quite pricey but the staff are pretty good and it is good full day out. I would also strongly recommend you try and pop into Coventry city centre to the visit the transport museum - its free too.

I went about 5 or 6 years ago,it was pretty good then.We actually went for an Italian car meeting which was held outside the front,it was only when we went round the back that we discovered a small gathering of Maxis having their own meeting

I'll recommend too. Some great oddities there for nosing at, thoroughly enjoyed it when we went as part of the 'RR G 08' event. Plus they have plenty to keep younger shiters amused too esp the electronic top trumps. Really good tuck available at the caff too. Not hugely cheap but you don't really feel done over because it's better than th usual stale museum fare.

How much was the food?? We can take stuff if it's too much.

Not sure, fizzy pop for me, non-fizzy pop for Poglet Maximus, plus sarnies & cakes each was under a tenner, which is good going for one of these places.
That sounds alright.....as long as it's not a £12 for 2 coffees and a muffin like the services!I'll take some photos....(not of the food obviously!)
