trigger
I was going to wait until the new year but i thought I'd test the water here first, I'm thinking about letting my Merc go as frankly, I don't like the auto gearbox, The car itself drives great and everything but i prefer changing my own gear, when i want to change it... So, It's a 1991 190E 2.0 automatic, it's done 121000 miles but it doesn't look it, everything works as it should, has electric windows all round and a electric roof and mirror, a nice CD/USB/AUX stereo and central locking. There is a few little scratches on the body, namely the O/S/R 1/4 but no dents or rust, The service book is missing but you can tell it's been looked after well (the last owner had it 6 years and the owner before him 13 years), it will need a small patch on the rear of the floor as the bung hole as got a bit bigger and the bung fell out (i have a replacement bung), I had the O/S/R done recently but i didn't spot that the N/S/R also needed doing but it's a easy job if you can weld also to add that the drivers seat has a bit of wear on the side bolster but this is pretty normal for these.. Anyway enough waffle, I'm looking for £995 ono for it which i think it pretty fair seeing what some people ask for these with higher mileage and lesser spec. Cheers. Lord Sterling
That's a really nice car trig. I've always loved these era Mercs. Reminds me of time as kid growing up in Brussels when these Mercs were everywhere. If I had the money, I'd be winging my way down to Ipswich right now. Good luck with the sale. trigger

dollywobbler
IDEAL XMAS PRESANT. It's astonishingly pleasant and a reminder of how much awesomeness is available for not very much money. I don't have even not very much money sadly. Also, it has no headlamp wipers.

trigger
It's still here and it needs to go, Mrs Trigger is giving me grief about wanting a smaller car (A K11 Micra or Yaris seem high on the list at the moment). Here's some new photos. It's not perfect, it's a 24 year old Merc, it has a few scratches, it could do with a small plate underneath around the drain hole and the sump gasket could do with being replaced at some point but it's a nice, honest car that drives well.
