I have now trailered the car home and taken it to a garage who have diagnosed a broken injector pipe. What I need is a a no. 2 injector pipe for a 1996 Citroen ZX Turbo Diesel with a Lucas pump. Six-cylinder Posted November 28, 2014 Author Share Posted November 28, 2014 Unfortunately I don't know what it looks like as the car is 20 miles away. I will ask the garage to take it off for me on Monday so I stand a better chance to be able to identify it visually. I have spoken to 3 beakers including a specialist French breaker A5 Salvage and they all say they haven't broken one of those for a while. I have also spoken to pirtech who make hydraulic pipes but they say they do not stock the correct pipe wall thickness. I have spoken to the dealer in Milton Keynes who says he should be able to get me a set of 4 for £44 in about three working days if I get the pump number. I run out of time today but have a couple of other things to try, I have a local brake line firm Automec who helped me out with my Oltcit brake pipes to try along with asking the local Diesel injection firm where they get there pipes. Six-cylinder Posted November 29, 2014 Author Share Posted November 29, 2014 Thanks to explosive-cabbage I am moving forward, he has now sent me a set of injector pipes because I could not get hold of my garage to confirm if the no.2 injector was counted from left or right.
