The Daihatsu is now sold. Thank you to all who have viewed the ad and/or enquired about it.

I have decided to sell my 1998(S) Daihatsu Fourtrak. It's a 2.8 turbo diesel, lwb and TDX spec Riviera 2 Ltd Edition.

Due to starting a new job soon, I no longer have a works van all the time to keep my tools in, so I've bought a van of my own.
The Daihatsu is too tidy in the back to mess up carrying my tools back and fore to work all the time.

It's MOT'd until October 24th 2015 and is very solid for a Fourtrak. The mileage is 128,000 and will go up slowly as still being used until the end of November.

The vehicle starts first time every time and has never failed to start in any weather, nor has it let me down at all in the 2 1/2 years that I've owned it and it's recently been serviced as well.

It has mostly been used for running around locally, but I have done a couple of longer runs (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire) in it with no problems what so ever and averaged over 30 mpg, which is good for a heavy 4x4.

Here's a few pictures, but I will take some more soon showing the rest of the vehicle and interior.

Yeh, when I was searching for one, they were nearly all well bitten by the rust bug. This was one of the best ones I saw (and not just saying that coz I'm now selling it. lol).

Sills are all metal, solid metal too. Boot floor good, Rear axle still attached also. All of which are faults I've seen or read about with these.

The worst parts to be honest are, drivers seat starting to get a bit soft on the right hand edge (under yer right bum cheek), and the lacquer on the top edge of the o/s front wing has peeled. I'm gonna try and re-lacquer that before it goes, hopefully. Wheels have been sprayed silver whereas they should be polished and the previous owner touched up a few stone chips and marks. You can see this in some of the pictures. a 2mm stone chip, does not require a 6" brush!!

It's not perfect, but for one of these, at this age, it's pretty tidy and still looks smart and presentable.

Yep, take that up the road to Cardiganshire, to the farmers of West Wales these are like a narcotic. They keep welding them up to pass each MoT, and several I've known say these are the best tow vehicle they have ever had.

Welding them up? Going by some I saw, I think they were MOT'd over the phone!! Shocking
