Mr_Bo11ox
Hey I know we all love the Audi A4 on here, especially silver ones glued to your rear bumper in freezing fog. In fact, i bet most shiters would agree that they are a not totally unappealing machine, the main drawback with em is the fact that they are almost like the default car for people with middle-class aspirations and zero interest in cars. But they are a smart enough, reasonably-sized sporty saloon with state of the art diesel engines so fair play to em on those fronts. BUT, what could be a way to make em more appealing to the shite end of the market? behold the SEAT EXEO: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/News/Search-Results/First-Official-Pictures/Seat-A4-sorry-Exeo-first-official-photos/ Audi have a new A4 to play with, so the old one is following in the footsteps of Gazza and Beckham by signing up to be the 'saviour' of second rate spanish team 'Auto Emocion' SEAT!!! Coming soon to a post-credit-crunch executive car park near you!
pogweasel
Now that's classy. Guaranteed to single out any rep as 'FAILURE TO MEET QUARTERLY TARGET' material. That said, if I was a porcine twathole in a cheap suit who stuffed their face with 'wild bean cafe' products and bellowed endlessly into a mobile phone, I'd pick one from any list, just to piss off those bastards in finance. TBH, I wouldn't mind being a travelodge-dwelling git in a purple tie right now. Better than being up shit creek without a paddle. Or even a Seat. Mr Lobster
I actually quite like that in a strange sort of way. It won't impress the neighbours or induce girly dampness but it should be ok to live with and in five years time it will be very cheap.
VWPowered
still looks like a cordoba from the back
MrRegieRitmo
Well as a fellow Seat isn't that acceptable? It's known as family resemblance. Check out the current Audi range from the front (and in some cases from the rear), it's like attack of the clones!
reallyloud
Certainly a handsome car, but quite generic. I see bits of Mondeo and slight hints of BMW 'flame surfacing' I'd imagine a silver one would virtually be invisible. I wonder whether they'll have the guts to bring out an estate version - if audis are anything to go by it should be a looker at least.
retrogeezer
Saw that in the paper a couple of weeks ago....I like it.
Guest
Would be alright in my eyes if they weren't doing a TDI one. Just the sound of those engines fill me with enough rage to want to convert my car into some Death Race 2000 style machine and go running down pedestrians, that infuriating whistly groany noise, it's like a klaxon for tossers. I'd love to sit in a car with one installed (probably an A3 1.9) and bounce it off the rev limiter until it goes up in flames. PAYBACK!As for the styling, nice to see something with headlights and grille that are proportional to the car for a change, looks quite neat really. Hope they do some sort of commercial spec in white with black bumpers and 14" steels.
r.welfare
It's not going to be that cheap IIRC (£18k to start I think), so not sure of it's market purpose, other than to actually be a Seat that looks OK and not like a bobbly MPV clone. They are bringing out the estate as well.I rather like the last Toledo (Mk4 Golf based jobbie), handsome motor and I bet it's a smoother operator than Sade with the V5 lump. They are getting cheap, but RW thinks a Mk1 Octavia wagon would better suit his needs when the time comes.
Mash
I quite like that too. I like the dash in particular. Got some good anti-kudos going for it as well!
Negative Creep
So it's a last generation car now available in brighter colours? Wow, just hold me back

Very quick, cheap to run, comfortable and reliable. Would highly recommend them!
