chaseracer
The ex-Wobbler, currently-Chaseracer Merc W124 300E, as seen in CCW on occasion. 1990 G-plate, 180K; MOT March 2015, currently on SORN (garaged) in the English Midlands. Indestructible 4-speed auto, serviced by the bloke who built Red Victor 3. Four new Avons 6000 miles ago. New driveshaft (OUCH!) a bit before that. Straight-six runs well, needs new idle-control valve (obtained, not yet fitted). Body good; paint's a bit dull and there's the odd bleb as you'd expect. Good cloth interior, very comfortable. Sunroof and driver's window currently u/s. On steels at the mo (with RAIR silver-edge trimz!) but original alloys as above available. These things are on the up, according to the 'classic press' - as noted elsewhere, watch W124 values skyrocket five minutes after I wave a sad goodbye to this one...FORE SAIL: £695 ono. HBoL, shiters' discount (and tea) always available. dugong, DS20, EssDeeWon and 4 others

dollywobbler
You forgot the important bit. Last I remember, both headlamp wipers worked. One of the washers is just the bare pipe with a screw in it. That's my careful* modification that is. chaseracer
chaseracer
Good point, Ian. I have made no further modifications yet.
worldofceri
Even though I've just lost a load of money on a W124, I still would. Verdict: These are MOREISH. chaseracer

Come over here with cash - you know it makes sense...
