Guest
Dug up this little archive of Peugeot 205 brochures: http://swolf82.no-ip.org/Peugeot%20205%20brochures/ Thought this accessories brochure might be of interest: Nice to see Peugeot did official versions of those daft twinlamp headlight cover things. Still, my choice would be the GTi briefcase - the mirrors for caravan towing are great mind, that's exactly what I'd want to use a 205 GTi for. Just a shame they haven't got any branded leisurewear, I once encountered a chap who had a Proton Jumbuck baseball cap! Legendary.
pogweasel
Professional!I have one of those oh-so 80's cassette holders in my BMW, totally useless since it does not have a cassette player. Super.

Richard
I have a Renault hold all. A card came through the door saying I may already have won a Renault 19 Chamade. I took the card into the local Renault dealer and I hadn't, but a hold all was the consolation prize. The Chamade has been and gone but I still use the hold all. Split_Pin
There goes one of those red plastic panels that go between the lights again!I'd definetley appreciate a Gti holdall for the gym

mk2_craig
Nice to see Peugeot did official versions of those daft twinlamp headlight cover things. Those are genuinely four-headlamp conversion kits, as opposed to the RGM-type plastic stick-on jobs - the indicators have been crudely relocated to the bumper as a result. Someone recently stuffed a white GTi so-equipped into a wall round the corner from my work, needless to say those were the first things to get wrecked

Mash
Ah, this seems an appropriate place to bring up a musing I had the other day.How long is it since anyone's seen one of those wind deflectors that you put on the roof of your car to make a caravan more streamlined? With the advent of more aerodynamic caravans, I doubt there's much call for them but they were all the rage in the 80s.I can't even find a picture on Google. pogweasel
Possibly also redundant now that an average caravan will be towed by a 4x4 the size of luxembourg with about 400lb/ft of torque, rather than a rasping Talbot Alpine loaded to the gunnels, trudging up motorway inclines at 42mph. Richard
Apparently they only worked if the vehicle had a near vertical back end, like a Volvo 245.
