Milford Cubicle
Too thick even to put "SOLD SOLD SOLD DO NOT BID" in the listing. Oh dear. It's not like it's hard to end a listing either.
Cavcraft
Phoneboxes, glue, business cards saying '24 hour taxis, cheapest rates guaranteed after midnight', inclusion of said wanker's mobile number, job done.
pogweasel
I communicated my displeasure. They said I could have the car after all if I gave them £350 instead of the £250 winning bid! They can go fuck themselves with it Betcha it's relisted tomorrow too. Hopefully they enjoy thier NEG LOLOLOLOLOLOL

nigel bickle
I would originally have said -just inform thiefbay. Its low value, they have a low feedback ,and its just not worth the agg.BUT -if they then EMAILED you back re-offering it, at a higher price you've got them over the proverbial barrel.Ebay will remove them totally, they are (arguably) in substantive breach of Contract -and if you really wanted to shill them, a formal complaint of fraud to the old Bill will warrant an arrest and mucho aggro (-although the CPS wont proceed).Personally -Id's threaten all that (email & post [-cert of posting so you can ''prove'' but they'll not be aware] ) -plus a copy of the intented County Court summons (easily downloadable) if they dont proceed as purchased on t'bay within 7 days. That shocks most into immediate submission. Rocket88
The trouble is, if you proceed with the above, the scumbag seller will probably pour a 2kg bag of sugar in the fuel tank, so 400 yds after you collect it, it grinds to a halt. In my bitter expeience, buying something off someone with whom you've had "disagreements" always ends in tears [or the RAC]
nigel bickle
Then add criminal damage to the list.I've ''enforced'' several -never given me any trouble.if they feel out of their depth, legally, they'll capitulate. perhaps not gracefully -but fear of the Rozzers tends to preclude retribution. To me, anyway -so far!!
CortinaDave
Inform ebay and have them removed, forwarding the emails they have sent. They shouldnt be allowed to brand you a timewaster and rip you off!
mk1_4dr
Sorry to hear that pog, more trouble than its worth? Nowt in the local rags rather than dealing with the public at large?? I personally don't recall ever having problems with anyone on eGhey, but perhaps I just haven't bought enough tat D
Mr_Bo11ox
Sounds like a pretty blatant case of working one's ticket. I suggest a robust negging (to which they are course unable to retaliate) then dob them in to eBay which hopefully will result in them getting booted. If not, keep an eye open for when they inevitably re-list the car, snipe it right at the end then neg them a second time right in the face. AXrescuer
Too thick even to put "SOLD SOLD SOLD DO NOT BID" in the listing. Richard
I don't think she's an eBay newbie, I think she's opened a new account because the previous one was either closed or had too much negative feedback.

aled
i was winning the toyota 1000 on e-bay w/end before last, the seller pulled it a day before it finished and said that he had a buyer for it, he didn,t say that he had it for sale off e-bay and i was prepared to go quite a bit further with the bidding. really pissed off as i had got the wifey to agree to it before i bid.anyone know for one that needs work, don't need an engine as i have a 40,000 miler out of a starlet. r.welfare
TBH it's probably for the best, car and seller didn't add up in my opinion.Might be worth plonking a wanted ad on the French Car Forum?
pogweasel
French car forum???You're probably right. I'm not keen on buying cars from less salubrious parts of london, always makes me feel uneasy.I think I have settled on an NA ZX though, seems the right combo of cheap price, size & mingebag spec so as not to distract me from other automotive toys, whilst being a good 'tool'. I recall renting one several years ago and whilst not fast it was hugely frugal.
