A deal has been struck. The money for the car is now in the south of England. It's in the hands of fate now, as I know if the scrap men come out they will be hard pushed to leave without it.

Not counting my chickens yet but massive thanks to TwoSmoke for agreeing to help with this :D

Brilliant... late in for lunch I fired up an off-brand pot noodle and while carrying it to the lounge successfully spilled it all over myself, burned the piss out of my hand, soaked my phone with the juice, soaked a load of expense receipts I was also carrying and it hit the hall floor and just fucking exploded....it was literally dripping from the ceiling in my newly decorated hallway. The obvious and considered reaction was to throw an immediate, massive paddy and boot the fucker down the hall while screaming, which has made the whole scenario about 18 times worse.

Well , its home . Dragged it in behind the van with no real issues until we turned into my lane where I heard a scraping noise and brother tooted the horn . We both thought the exhaust had fallen off but it was infact the fuel tank !! Obviously the 2 cable ties that the previous owner used to temp hold it up had given up . Quick bit of rope bodging and we made it . Lucky it didnt happen on the road tho.

IMAG0048.jpg

Its a bloody tidy old car too . Rear arches and sills look sound and the mileage is beliveable.

Sorry for the crap phone pics but I was in a rush and im no photographer.

Bodge ups
