pogweasel Posted November 22, 2008 Author Share Posted November 22, 2008 All I did was offer him £500 sheets for an L-reg TDi Disco, which was not too derogatory I'd have thought, especially given the chaps propensity to make other folk often low offers.He wanted £750 which is more that I'd want to pay, and I wouldn't want to travel a 150 mile round trip if negotiation wasn't possible, so a fair gambit I'd have said. I actually really had to bite my tongue as he'd previously really tried to pressure me into selling him my Volvo for about £400 (it eventually made £700-odd, as I expected).
