phil_lihp
Afternoon chaps. Form an orderly queue please for this little package of automotive excellence. It's a 1998 Mazda 323 1.5 LXi and it's just what you need. 132k on the clock, just had a couple of part-worns fitted and as of this morning it's been serviced as well. I need to shift it in the next couple of weeks as some sort of Volvo-shaped thing is needed, this one was bought from Cavcraft Enterprises Ltd as a temporary stop-gap and it's done the job admirably. If I didn't need a larger car, I'd be keeping it. Good points: Taxed until January 2015MOT'd until 21st April 20154 good tyres (albeit all four are different brands I've never heard of), grips very well round cornersVery sweet, smooth and responsive engineJust serviced with fresh oil, filters, wipers and spark plugsEverything electrical seems to work except the aerial which I just use as a manual one.It has pillarless doors, which everyone knows are for winners. Bad points:Bodywork is rough - a previous owner's nudged a fair few walls with it and done some pretty shoddy rattle-can repairs, most panels have dents and scrapes of some sort but nothing major. Looks fairly OK from a few feet awayPassenger electric window switch missing but the window works fine off the driver's sideIt has A/C but doesn't blow cold, might just need regassingThe driver's seat frame has broken on one side so the seat's a bit lop-sided - it's still perfectly useable and you do get used to it though. It certainly has plenty of grip and is a surprisingly fun car to throw around, the engine's revvy and reasonably powerful for a 1.5 whilst also being capable of at least 40mpg by my rough estimates. I reckon this has a lot of life left in it, you could probably tidy it up with a day's work if you know what you're doing but I quite like the knocks and scrapes, it gives it character and keeps other road users away. Since I've had it I've done about 500 miles, put two part-worns on it and serviced it. Mechanically it wants for nothing as far as I can tell. Here's some pictures. I am in Bideford in North Devon, I realise that's a long journey for most of you and I will do my best to help with collection by meeting you somewhere closer if it helps the deal. I would like £350 for it - PM me for more details.
KruJoe
Thank you for showing us your frameless doors. Now I don't need to look at any more internet tonight. Cavcraft and phil_lihp
phil_lihp
I'm sure there's a way to relay this to Yorkshire so you don't have to just look at the pictures any more. KruJoe
