I can't get the brake caliper piston back anymore, any suggestions

Hi not being very mechanically minded I thought I would fit some new pads on the rear of my car for the mot as last year I got an advisory for the pads (I haven't used the car much since then maybe 1000 miles at most)

So I got my rewind tool out (which I adapted with an angle grinder) and set to work changing the pads.

But the problem is I can't get the piston in enough to get the new pads fitted and have now run out of ideas on what to do and the mot is pre booked very shortly.

I've tried undoing the bleed screw to release any pressure but it's making no difference and I did undo the cap on the brake fluid reservoir lol.

I wonder if anyone knows of a way around this but I'm not open to suggestions to burn because it's VAG lol.post-9282-0-82349600-1409229447_thumb.jpg

I'm blaming it on being a Lucas caliper lol

It's all back together now well one side is anyway, now I'm trying to get the bottom bolt in on the NSR caliper which is fun.

So I thought I would stop for a cup of tea before throwing a gallon of petrol on the thing.

I've come to the conclusion that all VAG are shite and pineappling is too good for them.

By the look of that disc, I'd pop it off and give it five mins with a flapper wheel in the drill, it'll come up like new. If you try to rub it off by driving and braking, you'll likely "glaze" the disc, the brakes'll be crap, and you'll have all sorts of fun* cleaning them up after that.
