Honey Badger
Evening all, I don't know anything about this car or the guy selling it, it's just come up for sale on the owners club forums and I thought I'd post it over here if anyone wanted to have a look at it. Hi All,The time has come for a 4 door as the kids are getting bigger. I am therefore selling my trusty V6 Coupe. Photos and full details below. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ot9h5h36o82qi4i/AABYnZrCbGlDSgfXYTARu5j_aHonda Accord Coupe Automatic 3.0V6 VTEC in silver with full dark-grey leather interior.1999 T reg106k miles3 previous ownersExcellent service history, not all Honda main dealer, supported by lots of invoices.MOT 01/03/2015Tax 01/03/2015Very good condition. The paint is excellent and there is no rust.Complete with 3 keys, one remote.Comes with original Honda owners manuals in wallet. An original car with no modifications.Good bits:Fully loaded spec for the time including Climate control (blows cold), electric windows, electric sunroof, heated front seats, electric drivers seat, electrically operated and heated mirrors, remote central locking, cruise control. Everything works!Full leather interior in very good condition. Slight wear to the drivers side bolster.Professionally fitted Alpine stereo complete with iPod connectivity in glovebox, front USB connection and bluetooth hands-freephone kit. I also have the original Honda BOSE head-unit, should you want it!4 recent Michelin Premacy SP tyres with good treadRecent replacement OEM main fuel relay (cured an intermittent hot starting issue)Recent Honda OEM batteryNew (in 2013) Honda OEM exhaust system from the catalyst back.New front and recent rear brake pads.Original Honda overmats (bought from HH in 2011!).Bad bits- headlamp washers do not work. The relay clicks but there is no pump action.- A few marks commensurate with age.- the alloy wheels could do with being refurbished.A lovely car to drive. Very comfortable, very smooth and the VTEC V6 (200bhp) goes very well when required. I have had the car nearly 3 years and it that time it has been faultlessly reliable aside from the hot starting issue that was resolved with a new main fuel relay from Holdcroft Honda. Here is the service history. I have invoices for all the services below along with myriad invoices for tyres, wipers, aircon regasses etc: Oddly, Honda Balmer Lawn have not stamped the service history in 2007 or 2010, but i have the invoices. I have a lot of invoices! I cannot account for the gap in the history between 8574miles and 37714miles.First Registered May 199926/05/2000 4188miles Honda Crown Motors (Bushey Heath) Ltd24/05/2001 8574miles Honda Crown Motors (Bushey Heath) Ltd**no history**07/09/2005 37714miles Wakelin Motor Engineers (St.Leonards Dorset)04/09/2006 48835miles Wakelin Motor Engineers (St.Leonards Dorset)04/09/2007 60049miles Honda Balmer Lawn (Brockenhurst, Hants) **Timing belt replaced**27/10/2008 69828miles Honda Balmer Lawn (Brockenhurst, Hants)26/10/2009 79100miles Honda Balmer Lawn (Brockenhurst, Hants)09/10/2010 87861miles Honda Balmer Lawn (Brockenhurst, Hants)10/11/2011 93479miles Cowley Road Motors (Poole, Dorset)10/11/2012 98085miles Honda Horizon Honda (Poole, Dorset)04/02/2014 103816mls F1 AutoCentres (Poole, Dorset)I also have every single MOT certificate. Split_Pin
I think these are flipping ace looking cars. Quite a few have popped up in my local area recently. Strange that we got a US built Honda for a few years. Cavcraft
Lacquer Peel
The previous generation coupes and Aerodecks were US built too.

Honey Badger
You are kinda playing gearbox roulette around 120k with the V6, if you can get one that's had it's ATF changed every 30k they last well, if it's been neglected the 100k-120k can be as long as the box will last, something to think about if your going to buy one. They are cupping lovely to waft about in though, not outstandingly quick but you can drive for hours with nay stress at all, Honda seats are very comfortable. Civic coupes also came from the US, they all have similar lines to the accord coupe. HillmanImp
Honey Badger
Also this one online for £499. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-ACCORD-3-LITRE-V6-AUTO-/171361188489 Sounds too good to be true really? All this talk of Hondas has made me look at 2.2 V-TEC YO! Preludes.........The 2.0 manual accord coupes are not to bad, there's a minter on autotrader at the moment for just under a grand, the F20B isn't a screamer like the H22 in a prelude but it's still a nice drive.
