Copied from the ebay listing:

"I bought this car as a project last year, but due to working overseas now I have to reluctantly admit that there is no way that I am going to be able to finish it off, so it's up for sale.

When purchased it had 12 months MOT but that has now lapsed but I don't think that there should be too much work required to get another.
I have replaced all the brake discs and brake pads with new items from a reputable Saab specialist as well as replacing the split fuel filler pipe (so you can now fill up without £30 of petrol ending up on the floor!).
I also had 3 new tyres fitted (the car has aftermarket TSW alloy wheels).
New distributor cap and rotor arm, - this car does NOT have the potentially troublesome direct ignition system
New battery

I probably did some other stuff but quite honestly can't remember it all as I've been out of the country for 11 months!

The interior is in good condition - the leather seats (heated up front) are in good condition and, as you'd expect, very comfortable.
Electric windows all work - although the central locking doesn't

The biggest negative point is that the hood mechanism is pretty much wrecked and part of the frame is damaged. The electric motors work and replacement used hoods can be found on ebay for as little as £75 (there's one listed right now, in fact).
You can raise and lower the hood manually, though

Other problems are:

Floppy gearchange (all 5 are in there but 5th can be a bit elusive!)
Rust in the front corner of the bonnet (see pic)
Some rust in the a-posts but not a big issue to fix( (see pictures)
Radio has no code - but the Saab CD changer is installed
SID (Saab Information Display) tells you that the hood is unlocked and that the car needs a service (I don't have the kit required to clear those warnings)

It drives nicely, the brakes are good but it has NO tax or MOT so you will need to make the appropriate arrangements for removing the car from it's nice, dry home in North Yorkshire (near Bedale on the A1 about 12 miles north of the Ripon exit). Currently declared SORN."

I've got it up for a £250 start and a £400 Buy It Now - but of course I'm happy to haggle for shiters. I'm going to lose a shit loadof money thanks to the money spent on the brakes and tyres, but sometimes you just have to do tne sensible thing.

I'll add some photots when I'm not on my ipad but you can see the pics on tne ebay listing (link below):

Be quick - I've just had a "will you take £350 and Ill collect tonight" message from someone in Durham.

Well he bought it and took it away last night. There will be no immediate replacement - the garage space is more valuable at the moment.
