Stanky
MOAR FOTOZE Here are some recent and some not-so-recent snaps I've captured. Enjoy. Lurking in Chichester Old WIVVA BUTE? Golden Wonder. Snapped in Jersey so mysteriously salt-resistant? Friends! Almera Friends! Mustang Ovlov Biggar Ovlov A Claym? Woozlee? Roewe. T'was very nice Cars and Girls? Some of them were snapped at the local bank holiday fair where it pissed down all morning. I think the Rover and Mustang are still there, slowly digging themselves down to Australia by spinning their rear wheels. Stanky
Its great isn't it? There wasn't much chod on Jersey when we went but I managed to snap this and didn't realise til I got home just how dated it looks. I got a death stare from the driver as I papped him too. AlabamaShrimp
It's not just the car but the shops and buildings behind that make the picture. Wish my mk1 looked that good
Stanky
UPDATE 15/11 from the capital city of the United Kingdom OMG So, due to a requirement for my daughter to be in town today, and me being needed as driver I found myself leaving home at 6.45 this morning to be in town for 10am. Journey passed without note, and I found myself needing to remain on-site, but having nothing to do for 4 hours. Then, I discovered the building had a roof garden, so like any normal* person I wandered up there to stand in the wind and take pictures of shit cars that came by. And here, ladies and gentlemen I present my findings. Overall, there were 90% more Range Rovers and Aston Martins than anything else, as it the current fad. However, there were some worthy snaps. I think this is an Alfa 164 - its a 2000 model and looks sad. North African Taxi sir? full on 300d engine too. and JRG. This was a highlight. Was this Inconsistant? Red 944 looking smooth. I really like C70s, they are going to look gr8 in about 10 years time I reckon. Carina, probably an unregistered private hire taxi. 90s sportscar shite. In a fetching purple. Christ, I didn't know they made these in 2007, and more importantly I didn't know people were stupid enough to part with actual money for this shambolic pile of shit in 2007. Phiat Phive Hundred. In the distance. It turned right annoyingly and I wasn't fast enough to use my frozen digits to zoom in. Another of life's winners, this time in a leather-interiored Elantra. With a unrealistically large spoiler to keep all that raw power in check on Europe's fastest racing circuits. And roads in London Espace Mk2, with the 'it could be worse, it could be a diesel' 2.0 IDE pez engine. This was a spot and a half, a Lancia Fulvia, from my first floor angle I couldn't determine if the bottom 1/3rd was rust or just fillter. G-Wagen. A new one, though an H-reg one did come past shortly after. I like them. They are les vulgar than a range rover, but accomplish much the same thing. Another prime piece of chod, a Lancia saloon of some description. Sounded gr11, again, probably mostly rust by now. Marse Minger pickup, with the Truckman Mk1 prototype hardtop. Mk1 Mondeo, I thought it was an Aspen but it might not have been. Dismal. Emmex Phive, a bit tatty and the first spot of the day. It got better from here. Ovlov, possibly a 144 or 164? Living the dream and stereotypically heading north. Beetle GTI. A porker 912 sounding like a beetle. Previa. Factoid of the day, myself (aged 12) and 7 family members and friends drove one of these muthas to the dordogne in the late 90s in a day. They're alright in my experience. A Kia Pride, Or Mazda 121 - one for CMS206 anyway. Looked good. Taking 'scene' to the next level. Not just the usual rammel attached to this golf, no, today it was an actual full-sized ping-pong table. They'll all be doing it soon, but you saw it here first. A pair of Sab 900s, probably driven by geography teachers from the 1980s Merc SL, again off of the 80s. Probably enough coke still left in the interior to get a hit off. For cruising through space. Second factiod of the day, my 10 year old self and 7 members of my family and friends drove one of these beasts from Suffolk to bloody Italy via Switzerland over 2 days in 1995. TobyD of this very forum sat on the handbrake handle the whole way from memory. A shining starlet. 90s hatchback-tastic. This was the runner-up, mostly by the fact it had faux-wood glued to the sides. Also v8. probably LEZ-unfriendly too. And that, gentlemen, is that. I hope you enjoyed. If you didn't then go there yourselves and stand in a freezing gale for hours on end and get your own pictures. danthecapriman, Skizzer, Lord Sterling and 5 others

Stanky
A couple more which I'll post or I'll forget and they'll be lost forever when I drop my phone in a river or the sea or something. First up, a unrepentant LHM addict. He's not even trying to conceal his habit. Secondly, a tasty sierra, potentially cosworth, sapphire? The saloon rather than hatch flavour. One from each end of Hampshire - one was in Fareham and the other almost in Fleet. vulgalour
Stanky
OMG megger update from today. I went out and about with Micro_Stanky and we visited the SHVPS summer autojumble and show at QE Country Park earlier, the autojumble was pretty good and I picked up a few bits, I could have got more but Micro_Stanky was disinterested and hot so was dragged away from most stuff before I could have a good rummage. She was placated by the kids activity area but as it was just me and her I had to have protracted negotiations about doing what I wanted. Anyway, it was a fiver on the door which isn't bad in my book, and there is a ton of stuff. Have some (loads of) pics. Oof, these are very pretty. Where did it all go wrong peugeot? French farmers in attendance I've papped this before, I think its a show slag locally. Muchly brown roller Pretty Giulietta (?) Achievement Unlocked: All the Badges. Reward, carboard dogs. Something posh Micro_Stanky was intrigued by the pop-out windscreen but after careful consideration decided it would be unsuitable for us as bees might fly in while we drove. There was lots of american tin Lovely 535i with a slightly modified door. Sinister This borgward was stunningly beautiful. As was this Brizzle A Buick something or other As is often the case, the real winners cars can be found in the car park outside the event. A well turned out TZD Another car-park find, a Cadillac something. It had gold letters on black paint which made it a winners car for me. Classic car show material. Another installment coming shortly... Vantman, danthecapriman, Jim Bergerac and 1 other

danthecapriman
Arse! I forgot this was on and spent the weekend building a new decking at home instead!I was thinking of taking the Mercury along since it's about 5mins up the road from home. Great pics though, looked like a lot of really good stuff there and the weather couldn't of been better either. Stanky

Well worth a visit, I'd not been before but saw the signs as I drive that way for work every day so thought I'd chance a fiver to see whether it was good or not. I'll definitely go next year though. As you say, the weather was superb for it, hot but a nice breeze to keep it from getting oppressive. danthecapriman

Stanky
A less big update today but managed to pap a few choice pieces of dismal chod recently so though I'd share First up Judging by the central speedo and short wheelbase I'd hesitantly say it was Mini-based. Spotted at the Winchester Hat Fair last summer Brown. Spotted just round the corner from my house and pretty tidy. Driven by a 30-something lady with impeccable taste Living the dream, late 80s style. Not a real car, but papped inside the Princess Anne/Margaret Hovercraft with Mercrocker and Squire_Dawson earlier in the year. Shit stills from my cheap dashcam but an actual Mitsuoka Atrocity (I think a Le Seyde as its a softtop) in the wild. This was spotted in Petersfield one evening and is at least 28' long. Factoid is Mitsuoka employ 580 people, presumably all of whom get to design a bit of the car on a folded over bit of paper where you can't see what the previous person has drawn, like when I was at school and you drew funny pictures of people where someone would do the feet, then the next person would do the legs and so on til you had a complete picture of a 'person'. Saved the best until last, again in petersfield, this is a TR8 with the bumper held on with black and yellow 'hazard' tape. Not sure if its a factory TR8 or later conversion, but definitely a V8 M8. previously seen, but not papped, wheelspinning away from a junction on wet cobblestones, lurching sideways and disappearing rapidly up the road with a mega soundtrack.
