WANTED: Small/Medium Automatic, preferably a bit posh and cheap. SEARCH RESUMED!

Fatha_Sporty seems to have killed his auto Micra. As a stop gap, I managed to locate a tidy Saxo which my next door neighbour was going to PX. However, Mutha_Sporty can only drive an auto, and is thus feeling left out! So, I need to locate a small to medium automatic. Preferably with a decent spec, although that's not too important. Size is the issue, as mum won't drive anything big.

So, anyone got, or know about, anything.

Also, fairly Northern would be an advantage.

Sir, I think I have the ideal* car for your needs.

It is both automatic, and northern.

If you just edit your original post to remove the word Cheap, and replace it will Powerfull, we might be a perfect match.

It really sounds like it would totally not fit the bill, but I can't resist asking.

What is it?

It's nice, that, Bazza PissBeanz. However, Uncle Sporty has one, and Fatha Sporty doesn't get on with him, so that would probably mean a no. (/family dynamics)

Out of interest, how much is it? And would you PX Saxo/Rusty 944/K10 Micra? (/desperation)

There is a garage near me that believes that their Micra/Jaguar Hybrid is worth £6k, so £2.5k looks cheap.

It is Biege, not sure why it looks pink in the pictures.

small/medium - check

bit posh - check (it has shiny bits)

automatic  - check

North - check (it's north of Eastbourne/Spain)

Problem solved.  It's only done 40k too so it's practically brand new.

Maybe* I can help*

I am selling a 2002 Smart Coupe for £995

Or, my dad is wanting a change and has his 2003 Merc S320CDI for sale for around £3000

The second one is a lot of car. The first, not so much.

I'll tell him about the Smart. Merc, unfortunately, is way too big for Mutha_Sporty. You're right though, epic amount of car for the money.

KEWL

It's black, so clearly a blokes smart. Panormanic roof, too. /sales pitch

Shame he is after an auto. My dad is also wanting to sell his 2010 '59' Clio 1.5 dci for about £3.5K

Highly unsuitable and getting smaller/more expensive.

If you require any further useful* offers, you know where I am. :-)

Righty. The Micra has failed MOT. I've driven it, and there was nothing amiss mechanically, so they were going to keep on with it. However, it has failed test on a couple of bits, and they don't want to be bothered. A for sale thread for this will appear shortly.

So, search has resumed. Has to be auto, small=good, medium=doable, any bigger=post pics and I'll show to mum, but probably not.

Preferably sub £1000, although something special MAY be considered if it's a bit dearer.

Location? Wherever. Preferably northern, but I'm due a road trip, so distance isn't really a big problem.

HIT ME UP, SHITERS.

Any interest in a P reg Polo 1.4 CL Auto. Bit crusty round the rear arches, but mechanically A1.

(did have a scare a few months back that the H/G was on the way out due to a bit of Mayo in the filler cap. - However was just a breather pipe and an Italian tune up cleared the Mayo :-D )

73,000 miles, 3 door, Green,

Probably a bit old for what you need, but a very reliable old bus. (also has the BEST heater I have ever had in a car)

Cheers
