KruJoe
WhyTF do people do things like that? The only way it could be worse would be to add those ghastly 'tribal' stickers. *Going balls out* [£156.78]
Jim Bell
That pic of a monkey with its blackened monkey balls out has got my blood angried up. €175 EUROS ! Genuine cash. In Genuine real Euros. I got them for my aunty as she was going on one of those holidays that they have these days, but then he had a stroke. She says I can keep them (I think) so this is a genuine offer in genuine real Euros. cms206
gdhaydock
I was just about to the offer the 140 Polish zloty that have been sitting in my drawer for the last 10 years, however upon looking for them in the drawer of doom, they appear to have been half inched ....so I can't offer them

HillmanImp
Just rung up to get insured on this but its too new to go on the Imps policy. Did not realise the Imps policy was a classic one too, thought it was a normal one as I use that to keep my NCB going but it seems its a specialist classic policy with NCB accruing. Shame as I am off to the seaside in North Wales at the weekend and could do with a slightly more gutsy car for the journey. Don't fancy taking the Visa as it really needs some loving. HillmanImp
^Sorry to sidetrack, but whats happening with the duff Audi?? I rang them up yesterday as I was going to just say, sod it, I'm coming down to pick it up and take it to the scrappers but it seems that they have got a spark from it ableit a weak one. They are doing some more work on it today apparently so its got a short repreive but not for long. However, the entire reason I own it is for trips like these down t'motorway etc. Looks like we will be taking the Mrs's Mazda 2. Its such a horrid, horrid car. The fact that I can't put anything else modern on my other policy means that I may have to wait until September to buy what I want to replace it though (Alfa 166, XJ8, 406 Coupe etc) as I am looking at cars a little more modern than the Audi on a normal policy for the forst time in several years as there are bargains everywhere. However they will probably all dry up as soon as I can actually buy one.

Good cars all disappear when you have the reddies sitting there. HillmanImp

EssDeeWon
Surprised the dealer couldnt shift it at £500, where was it advertised? The post office window in Greendale?
John F
I dunno tbh. Like I said, it's not the sort of thing he tends to stock. Weird kei cars or newish family snoremobiles are more his thing, and I think he advertises them in the usual places on the Interweb. I don't think he's tried too hard to advertise this one. But he usually tells me about anything old / interesting he's got lying around, hence this fred. I suppose this is advertising, of sorts.
eddyramrod
Just a thought, but if one of us accidentally bids enough, am I is he going to be held to the bid, and expected to pay up and take posession? EssDeeWon
EssDeeWon
Just a thought, but if one of us accidentally bids enough, am I is he going to be held to the bid, and expected to pay up and take posession? Thats why I was asking when the auction ends or how do we know when the highest bid has been made? Once there are no more bids for 24 hours the highest bid gets it? Or highest bid by 10pm Sunday? (for example) KruJoe
Manbearpig
Apparently it's been lying around his yard since November 2013! Hope it hasn't gone all foisty inside
KruJoe
Once there are no more bids for 24 hours the highest bid gets it I was gonna suggest this, auction ends 24 hours after the highest bid. That's if it meets the fella's reserve of course - it's not even John's to sell.
EssDeeWon
In which case if no one bids before 4pm tomorrow its Shitpeaz for £233.33 ? Potentially. KruJoe
HillmanImp
If you win this one, I'd happily look after it until September for you Ta Joe but I will hang fire for now. I will take the risk and see what is around at the time. I really fancy a jag at the mo but I change my mind more often than a British girl on a 18-30 holiday performs sex acts on strangers so will see what I end up getting at the time.
