Milford Cubicle
I was going to bid on this one, but it got pulled by the seller.Looks quite smart on the Audi (?) alloys GR8 4 DRIFTIN IN THE SNOW AND ICE AND DAZZLIN DEER WITH ITS SPOTLITEZ
r.welfare
Ooh, even still has both bumper bolt covers. Nice.1.4 Renner lump is not fast in a 340 but pretty much indestructible.
Milford Cubicle
Is the 1.7 lump a more modern OHC as opposed to (presumably) some ancient Renault OHV in the 1.4?
r.welfare
Yes, 1.7 is OHC, as featured in the 5 GTX, later 9/11, 19, and 21 plus the 440/460.1.4 is the old pushrod lump in 72bhp guise, so same trim as the high-spec 5s, 9s and 11s. I've heard 150k is easily achievable, my own 340 was a low-miler with 36k on it though!
Mash
Very cool and not so many around these days. Our music teacher at school had one new identical to that in 87 and kept it for years.
Split_Pin
Very nice indeed - same colour as my Stahlberg model one.My Dad had a 1.4 when I was little and I remember crying when he accidentally snapped the gearstick top off in his frustration at his gear selection error when pulling away at a roundabout
Richard
I was driving a J-plate one last night. First time in years I've used a choke.
