Ratdat
It looks like a bag of shite but it's cracking to see old customs like this still going. Shame it doesn't still wear it's original flake paintjob!
pogweasel
Corking! That fella's clearly ploughed a heck of a lot of £/effort into it... I remember when it first re-surfaced, really was ruff as arseholes. I'd be halfway tempted, but I've never liked the 'face' of the Mk1 Septic. 155V6
Was known as Granzilla if I remember rightly
Lord Sterling
Thats a stunning looking Granada, thats how the original one should have looked in the first place I reckon. Looked up for this car on the web but I cant find any info on it, the "Granzilla" name seems to have been poached by "Scumball rally" drivers for thier 88' Granada. Ratdat
Yes, it was called Granzilla, inspired by ZZ tops Cadzilla. It ran a Rover V8 and some home brewed hydraulic suspension done using tipper pumps from scrapyards to get it really low. The whole thing only cost him £2500 to build in total. I love the fact it uses stock Granada alloys and even the front end is stock. The bloke definately had a keen eye for what looked good. It's probably my favourite British customs ever, particularly because it's more skill and imagination than money. Even the V8 swap, whilst not flashy due to the low budget, is very nicely done and almost factory looking.
bigstraight6
That Granada is just stunning, I've never seen it before either. It certainly does look better than the factory coupe with its graceful lines, hopefully it didn't get raced and is in a lockup somewhere... chaseracer
That Granada is just stunning... hopefully it didn't get raced...No, it was a different one that made the oval journey - an ugly great thing with a godawful glassfibre body kit
hotford00
I do like the look of the english coupe, had one many years ago and did all the usual mods , manual box , earlier carb ,capri exhaust manifolds etc thought it was the dogs until one day I saw a german coupe, even nicer shape . Sold it soon after, wish I still owned it now... Doh!!
