theorganist
As an Autoshiter you probably love the sound of a rattly OHV Engine, pulling out the manual choke in the morning, getting up to speed in fourth and going to change gear and realising that is all you have! Well that dream can be yours in the form of this Radiant Red beauty which even has most of its wheel arches intact. It includes special anti theft door locks, entry is only available through he passenger door, the boot is only accessible via leaning over the rear seat! in all seriousness I bought this car as stop gap car in July 2013, my mother had a series of hospital appointments pending and the black Maxi I had was not reliable so I purchased this on e-bay from a back street garage in Wolverhampton. It has surprised me, my last experience of Fiesta ownership was also a 1.1 Popular Plus but a tired 12 year old W reg which had obviously been boy racered as it was knackered, plus was very noisy and not very comfortable. This is a lot better being comfortable, pretty roomy, and not that noisy even with only 4 gears, certainly up to 60. I did a round trip from Stourbridge to Chatham in it late last year which is quite a journey in one go and it didn't miss a beat and was a surprisingly pleasant vehicle to travel in. The engine seems to be in good working order although I will need a service. The body is pretty good, it has been welded in the past although the last MOT it didn't need any, the rear arches I think have had some work but look good with a couple of blisters coming up. There is a strange patch on the drivers door where the paint has cracked and is blistered a little and the bonnet has quite a bit of rust on the front edge. The interior is pretty good although the drivers seat fabric has come loose. I was going to keep it and use it alongside the Princess until Torstens old Horizon turned up on e-bay. It has MOT till August and tax till the end of July. It will need a set of door locks or them repaired, both are available on ebay and the brake light switch is held down by blu-tac. And as I said it really needs a service. It has had a new battery and alternator. I have it advertised for £400 but there would be an autishiters discount. Stupidly (as I need the money) I would be open to swap but it would really have to be something pre 1990 and in the lower tax band which I can't imagine there is anyone on here that desperate to own a mark 3 Fiesta. Let me know if you are interested. Some pictures below: srad34
Cavcraft
If you look carefully someone has etched a badger riding a cycle on the door, then kicked a rusty football against it. These are brilliant little cars and rapidly disappearing off our roads, someone from Autoshite should buy this. brickwall, Vince70, theorganist and 1 other

theorganist
I have advertised it on Swapz and stated that I would swap it for something small and pre-1990, although actual cash would be preferable! So far I have been offered a 1995 Pug 205 diesel and a Volvo 960 from around the same year! Both lovely cars I'm sure but both not what I'm looking for. A guy at work wants/wanted it but wants to put a Zetec in it (yawn) and he now has a barried up Clio so I imagine he won't be interested in it now, anyway and I don't want to see it barried up! Micrashed
I'm sure but both not what I'm looking for. A nice Datsun Cherry N12..... Though TBH Im not interested in anything unless its got four wheel drive.
theorganist
Something interesting and from the 70's or 80's would be fine, certainly a Cherry would fit the bill. I need another car like I need two broken legs but I could probably not resist it if something interesting was offered! It is on car and classic and on e-bay as I am really looking to sell, but when has the thought of too many cars stopped an autoshiteist?!
Cavcraft
It would probably help your sale if you mentioned that you got two ladies (one old, with saggy knockers, the other younger with perter Bristols) to stand back to back and wear one of those suctioney looking things you put on top of hot beverages to keep them warm on their heads, reflected on the bonnet. theorganist

Cavcraft
The top one is clearly two centipedes trying to burrow their way out of a small potato crop. How is this helping the sale of a Ford Fiesta? theorganist and Micrashed

theorganist
Its keeping the thread from dropping off the page....Into Oblivion Haha, thanks. I must admit I assumed that a cheap, simple car with a blue oval badge would have gone quickly. I had a few watchers on ebay but no bids!
