andy18s Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Decided to put the pug up far sale as the bike is now back on the road for the summer306 XSi 2.0 16v yr 2000tax and test till end of Oct (5mth+)noisy n/s front wheel bearing-clunk from o/s droplinkusual Peugeot stiff clutch pedalspeedo works when it feels like itloose exhaust heat shield rattles every now and thenheater fan doesn't work,needs a new resistor fitting.All in all a typical french car£50 and a weekend will have most of the issues sorted but i cant be assed at the moGTi leather interior fitted but drivers seat is rippedall discs/pads replaced for last motbattery only 5 months oldrear axle shows no sign of wearvery reliable,never let me downgoes very,very wellbodywork in very good condition with just a couple of carpark dinksstd lights have been refitted and you can have the chavtastic lexus lights thrown in!located nr Market Drayton TF9£400 ono or possible swap (maybe even a datsun 260 or summat different) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Friday bumpShould mention that I have replaced the o/s balljoint in pursuit of the clunkHave consulted with the Internet and it now seems the droplink is the next suspect...Or a little P bush that is in there somewhere tooHad a new battery just before Xmas as 1 rather cold start was too much for the originalAirbag's have had the Official Peugeot Factory Recommeded Update(Plugs under the seat have been cut off and the wiring joined by the previous owner)Has a proper steering wheel from a 307/206 GTi or something.Much nicer to hang off of whilst cornering like sh8t to a blanket.Original is incO/s Handbrake cable went Ping on me this morning and it seems something has come adrift,I'll take a look as soon as i can Any swaps may be considered as I'll cash the tax in the end of the month,and it's only going to be sat here till the weather breaks and the bike goes back into it's new "luxury" accomodation Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
