Cavcraft
...shite music of course!Mrs Cavette (the scary one in the family) says it's clear out time and who am I to argue?Hence the disposal of some unrequired vinyl, and we're not talking Hillman Avenger 'Top Hat' roof covers here, oh no. We're talking some proper retro shite music. *Disclaimer: a fair chunk of these were her's so before you question my taste in music remember the crap ones were hers:Turtle Power: 'Partners in Kryme' 12" single. The Hits Album 8 lp: Various including Aztec Camera, Eight Wonder etc).Slade: Til Deaf Do Us Part lp.Adam Ant 'Friend Or Foe' lp: Note has stamp on rear of cover saying 'Property of CBS demonstration only. Not for sale'.Meatloaf 'Bat Out Of Hell' lp.Fleetwood Mac 'Tango In The Night' lp.Stevie Nicks 'the Other Side Of The Mirror' lp.Nomad 'Changing Cabins' lp (cracker that one, proper retro dance shizzles).Various 'Soft Metal' lp: includes such shite as Heart, Whitesnake, Starship etc. Ideal mood softener for when you get that bird from Woolworth's round to your house and try and get some fingers and tops with her because your mum and dad have gone out in their Montego Countryman estate.Various 'Massive' LP (Ace this one: has Snap, Blackbox, Shame, Tribe Called Quest etc).Sister Sledge 'Lost In Music' 12 inch single.Iron Maiden 'Piece Of Mind' lp.Blue Pearl' Naked in the rain' 12 single.Soul 11 Soul 'Volume 2' lp. Bit of class that: hit the dimmer switch, get the best afghan rug out, chill that 79p bottle of Asti Spewmanti and turn the fire up to three bars. Your bird will be in heaven as you horizontally jog to the soothing sounds of the rather delectable Karen Wheeler.I've also got another forty (at least) similary shite records here. All appear to be in A1 condition vinyl wise and in original covers. Offers please (I don't care too much and don't expect a fortune) for the lot or just the ones you fancy. Half of any proceeds to guide dogs for the blind and/or a children's charity.

It was a few years back but I remember French radio being some of the worst I ever heard. Isn't there some law that says 1 in 3 songs played must be home grown? Cavcraft
Hey, let's get nostalgic. Billy Idol's 'White Wedding' reminds me of the days arsing about in my pre-airflow Consul Cortina 2 door with my then relatively new bird who's now my wife. Split_Pin
HI M8 GOT NE KLF?ive got the 12"single of that...Justified and Ancient..I have the follow up to that 'Its Grim Up North' on Now 20. It basically sounds like a man standing in his garage listing all the medium and large towns that he can think of that exist in northern England. Now that IS shite

Richard
Here is one. It seems they were supposed to work on the move, but I bet they didn't.I always wondered what the 16rpm speed was for on record players, it seems it was for the 7" LPs that you could buy for these gadgets. Here is one working, playing Buddy Holly naturally.

Father Ted
Owing to the non working standard fit audio n the Micra, I have this:sticky-velcroed to the dashoard running off a small 12vDC to 240vAC inverter tuned mostly to Radio 7 or Radio 4 - it works a treat. The morning drive with some classic comedy (twas the navy lark yesterday) is reaxing as I pootle along at 50, the micra has yet to be taken over 60 for fear of the car shaking itself to death. The wireless cost £15 the inverter was free.
