RENOMAD

Recommended Posts

id take the higer spec TXE over the ebay one, the blue one looks iffy to me, dirty interior pics (well its does say its mint) looks like a fair bit of pedal rubber wear, NSF wing looks off too near the indicator...but do you really need any more renaults :P did you sell your others in the end..

That TXE looks very nice and it's cheap too. I'd kind of like the higher spec TXE but I'm not really willing to sacrifice the cheap tax and economy of my GTL. I can imagine a 1.7 must go really well as the 1.4 isn't bad.

Well guys The Fuego is gone, The 18 is gone, The 16 is going this weekend, So I'm left with the 15 which I adore.I'm glad to say that there is a 17 on the Horizon. It is currently undergoing some bodywork which I have seen. If I am happy with the result, the car is coming my way.(more than fingers crossed). It is a 1973 17TL Auto in dark blue.Unfortunately(or fortunately) is has no sunroof,,but hey,,its a 17. Serviced, new exhaust,,new MOT and front wings have new (will have )metal. Will keep ye posted.

When i worked at Henshaw Garage I used to blezz around in a 1.7 job that had done something ridiculous like 240,000 miles, and it went like stink! A remarkable car.

What was it like on juice?
Pretty good as I recall, I didnt used to pay for the juice in it but the boss used it for taxi duties and he reckoned he could get 40mpg on an airport run.
