MrRegieRitmo
Another car I'd have loved to have driven off in! think it was up at £3999 & was being offered by the same vendor as the Sunbeam. This looked much better value.
Split_Pin
Love your recent batch of Malta Pics!I saw a few of those VW campers on my way down to the Vauxhall weekend at Billing last weekend. I wondered where they were going!Audi V8 is my favourite too!
Mr_Bo11ox
I love those Audi V8's. I think its about 15 years since anyone paid £4k for one though! A really tidy 3.6 one went through eBay a coupleof weeks ago for £550.
Cavcraft
Cromer..... That brings back memories of weekends in a mates parents caravan at sherringham and evenings in the cromer nightclub..... it was called Crabs..... Honest Sorry for the slight o/t but my sister had a flat right next door to that night club when my 'rents were living in West Runton. Sister babysat for the missus and I one night and we went into that club. It had to be seen to be believed, like a sort of pub back room but ram full of some real characters.I swear to God a bloke came in with an Elvis hair-do (which I think he'd bootpolished minutes before) and some sort of strange 50's throwback clothing. Best of all he was almost worshipped by the people in there, can only assume he was the local hardman or something?

Although it must have been worth more than £4k at 2 years old! :?In general a bit of a rip off merchant then

MrRegieRitmo
Search me! Think it's some kind of tribute to the Japanese cult of JDM or something*. There's a whole scene of cars with daft exhaust pipes over there, I think it's fashionable or something. I'm sure SL or Hirst could fill us in *I could have just made that up! michiel
Seeing two RT40 Coronas in one place would make me faint... and then that Goliath... The Cressida's exhaust are a bosozuku thang.
mnde
Excellent! I saw a Toyota Crown just like that OTR on Friday in West End, Surrey. I was going to come online and describe it because at the time I didn't catch what it was but now I don't have to!Cheers,Mark.
Spottedlaurel
Good to know that Rmad off RR’s Cressida is still out and about. A few other familiar Japanese cars there from OJC and the Datsun forum. The 120Y coupe has a 1.8 MX5 engine and ‘box conversion, which I’d imagine works very nicely. I’d like to see more of the blue Celeste that’s in the background of another shot.Thumbs up for the Manta A’s too, of course. Escort van rather appealing too. Gompo
Nice pics, thanks for the effort. I like the plates on this, seem to suit the style of the car - much better than German style plates.

Mr Lobster
/\ Without all the stick on tat and painted badges that Cavalier Convertible would be nice. As it is though it is very much not. I'm not really into the whole Ferrari thing but that F40 is seriously lovely.
r.welfare
Wow Reg, GR8 photos. Cars of the show for me, so far, are the mint Carlton and Legacy estate.
MrRegieRitmo
I try to snap as much of everything that I could, from the most mundane to the most chintzy, somebody will like something! The Ferraris were obviously not shite but I couldn't just ignore them, not least because they understandably drew a lot of attention with people crowding around them, especially when the F40 & Testarossa were being revved at god knows what cost in fuel! Seems I didn't snap the front of this;

I'd have been quite happy using my phone cam with it's 5mp camera & 16gb memory if it wasn't for the rubbish battery power on it & the fact I needed to keep it for staying in contact in case of emergency.Bromley South looks to be the nearest station. A is where the show is held, B is the way you'd travel in if you were on one of the club stands or trader I think but if like me you were exhibiting your vehicle in the One Make Area or parking in the general car park / entering on foot with the general public you'd enter from the other side along the A21 into Hook Farm Road.http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wlBromley is 74 miles & 1 hr 51 minutes from me according to Google if I take the fastest route. If I take the more logical route it comes out at 66 miles but I lose 2 minutes that way apparently.Anyway twice I've taken an old Renault up there hoping for the best & both times the cars behaved impeccably & I had a cracking day out ! :DEDIT: link doesn't seem to work Just search on Norman Park Bromley, zoom in & you'll see what I was talking about. You can use street view for that area too!
MrRegieRitmo
Been a bit distracted by things other than Autoshite the past month or so (yes I have a life outside of this website...), so before we start approaching Bromley Pageant 2010, without further ado, here's the rest of the pics...
