perhaps in the same spirit I give to you the P38 Pick up

https://www.ebay.co....8.c100651.m4497

£2,150.00 25 bids
Reserve not met

got to be shilling or time wasting

Though must be said I like how that made the rear doors disappear
and the back of the "cab" would mean that the front seats would be good for Jeanette Krankie. anyone taller might struggle to get behind the wheel

What a back-street abortionist!

After that lot one for the Barretts of this world.

A very noice Sunbeam Speed 20, but with the wrong engine, probably done in desperation due to the lack of Speed 20 engines on the market. I would because it is still lovely.

BUT is it worth the money asked ?

Don't show this to DD Classics in Kew; they'll think they let their "timewarp"* '79 CX GTi go cheaply at £25k.

Couldn't see that GTi on their website. Sold ?

My first CX was a series one 2400GTi that I paid a 100 quid for. Two new front spheres and it was mot'd and on the road :)

A few years later after an mot fail for mega rot I swapped it for my bosses GS Pallas. He carried on driving it for a good few more years

commuting between Swindon and Reading. Still with no mot or registration as I found out when I received a parking ticket from where he abandoned it when it finally died  :(

My Citroen binge on the tat thread unearthed someone wanting 2600 euro for some 40 year old tyres that may or may not have been to Senegal and back and a grumpy bloke wanting to get 3000 euro for a containerload of spares which he refuses to discuss on the phone, photograph or catalogue in any way.

Given the price of genuine 3 door cosworths, and the fact that I've always wanted one, I'd buy this if the price was right. I'd probably put a Ford V8 in it and make it very much look like a standard 1.3 base if I could find dangly mirrors.
