I have a new car on the way so need to free up some £ and some sq ft.

 

Here's the low down...

 

1989 325i Touring

 

Zinnobar red

 

135,000 miles

 

Excellent solid body with no major rust in any of the usual rot-spots. Even the tailgate is spotless!

 

Sports cloth touring interior (mega rare!)

5 spd manual

Electric windows/sunroof/mirrors

Headlamp wash/wipe

Decent stereo

smoked front repeaters

all-red euro-style lenses

euro-style number plates (not shown), non-dating registration number

2-way dog guard/luggage cover

Lowered sports suspension

5x BBS x-spoke alloys, all good, 4 have nearly new branded tyres.

MoT / tax till end december

 

Have spend a vast amount on this car over the last 12 months, including the M20 engine 'achilles heel': the headgasket... renewed, skimmed, pressure tested, basically a thorough and proper job using all OE parts, plus a full service & renewed cambelt. Suspension is all-new throughout, plus various other grubby bits attended to. Handles very very well indeed and pretty quick as well. Oh and it makes THE most glorious noise when you put the right foot in the carpet. ;D

 

Bad bits:

Fraying on driver's seat (minor)

Odd scratch / trolley mark here & there

Small dent on OSF wing + strange colour mis-match

Needs a bloody good polish as I never seem to find time to finish the job. :-/

I don't have any service history other than what I have spent making it good!

 

So not a rot box, all the nasty jobs dealt with, just minor titilation to make spot-on. I would like £1250, which stands me at a significant loss!!!
