Cavcraft
1997 'R' reg Rover 416i. Metallic (nightfire?) 61,000 on the clock but no old MOT's etc to prove.Story goes it was taken for a pre-MOT and some jobs (tyres etc) were picked u[p on and sorted (part worns fitted) prior to 'real' MOT. Anyhow on way to test the headgasket went and the MOT centre refused to continue the test (have a red failure sheet which states this) so it was taken away. I have no proof of any of this being correct except the red failure sheet as stated.Headgasket definately gone, oil is milky and water is oily. Topped the water up, chucked some k-seal in and it ran on a private track for a couple of miles no bother. Now starts up etc but does sound like it's missing a little. Could be plugs, could be h/g related. You can actually see what I assume is where the h/g has gone on the bottom left corner (as you look at motor) when engine running.Aside from that some lacquer lifting on bonnet (seen much worse though), the odd scratch and a dent by the o/s/r wheelarch are about the worse things.Very tidy really and definately far to go for the weigh in but that's where it will go I'm afraid if not sold.Waiting for V5 but have the full left hand side of the old one for some reason but full receipt comes with car and it will be collected from house along with money back warranty it's mine to sell. V5 will be then be posted on or may be here soon hopefully anyway. No tax, no MOT. £125 please. I think price is fair as will get that over the bridge and cat could be sold along with a few other parts. On sale until a deposit or full payment recived, promises don't keep my family fed.Collect from near Chester, very close to M53/M56/A55/A483 and easy reach of M6 North and South. Loads more pictures available if wanted, pm me with your e-mail address.Getting binned VERY quickly if not gone.
Milford Cubicle
Looks very tidy! Would be a real shame if it was fragged.

MrRegieRitmo
If I was after an MG Rover I'd be tempted by the ZS. The booted one mind as it looks much more purposeful with a Mitsubishi Evo style rear wing!
Cavcraft
Would be a real shame if it was fragged. No it wouldn't. Crazy really. Took the wheeltrims off and the stereo out this afters but can be supplied if anyone wants the car. It's even got about half a tank of bloody petrol in it.I can get eighty quid still polluted plus I can nick the cat and a few daft bits off it to bump the money up if needed.I have no affection for this car (or most really) it's just metal but it would be madness to have to weigh it in.I've decided it probably faces deathrow on Saturday so I can clear garage out for new* and better shite.*New meaning 1969-ish. Cavcraft
Didn't get time to depollute so in the unlikely event anybody is both interested and nearby if you can match the eighty rips offered by my nearest scrappy then you can have it. Has to be gone by 10.00 tomorrow morning though.
