Yeah, I heard about that earlier - fake passports being used etc.Fine upstanding citizens, the lot of 'em...Where would you stand if you had been ticketed by someone who had no legal right to be in the country at the time?

Not surprised in the slightest. I have had countless encounters with petty nigerian little hitlers in my time working in the smoke. Ultra frustrating when the person you are arguing with only has a basic grasp of the language of the country in which you are being bum-raped for staying 0.8 seconds longer than supposed in a P-A-D bay. I do wish they would go back to the old system in London, worked much better.....When I started taking jobs down there it was a £30 fine plus you had to be 'in breach' for something like 12 hours before you could get towed.... We used to just slap the van any old place and take the fine and move on after 7-8 hours, because it still worked out cheaper than NCP parking half a mile from site...
