55bloke
Excellent night photography there, most impressed. Love the HB Viva - but even when they were new I thought the wheels looked stupidly small, and by today's standards, they're positively comical! Louise2cv
The Talbot is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen one and prob never will... how cool that it is still out and about! I also wonder what owners of scabby bedfords, espaces and novas would think if they found out their cars were pin-ups on a website

seth
A proper spot update now. You can tell these phots were not taken with an I-phone because if they had been I'd have made sure to tell you all that they were, so that you knew I was Apple'd up. I am not. I don't normally take photos of these Mercs as there seem to be a lot around still and they don't really fall under my shite radar - they're just old Mercs. But then as I approached it became clear this was proper giffer spec This is the first of a collection of "modern" photos, inspired by ReallyLoud. I won't post others but will keep them for a decade or so before looking back. I will try and get something that is of at least vague current interest in them though so that in the future they is definitely something that will make me go "Cor!" Perhaps the piece de resisatence of this update... And the final three courtesy of the Mrs_Seth spot cam.
scaryoldcortina
My god... a Judas Sheep Princess hearse, how totally ironic, and stuff. I am thoroughly "appled up" thank you so much. The recent winds have released about half a tonne of bramleys from the tree.
CreepingJesus
Juxtaposition win here? Get your funeral done for next to nothing, by having it sponsored by the scrappy, and knocking a rudimentary coffin up from MDF?I'd have that Princess hearse...oh yes. Louise2cv
When I go, that is the way I want to go. Maybe I should buy one and save it for the day... The lights look good like that... (they are just princess lights on their side, aren't they?).

Split_Pin
This thread has cheered me up! The blue 131 and Avenger are tip-top I am currently wondering if Mrs_L to be would allow me to swap the currently selected limo with a Princess-derived one. I'm sure I've seen one somewhere. Vin
Lovely pics, really good. Love the blue 131 and that Viva HB has 'Bob Ferris' written all over it ....
eddyramrod
Wow, the Princess Wedge has always been one of those cars Ive seen pictures of and thought 'Nah, never going to see one.' Top work seth! They were a rather nice piece of kit, despite the way the odds were stacked against them. I've had two. First was this one, a 1978 2.2HL auto towards the end of 86... Followed in 1990 by this one, a 1981 2.0 HLS manual in triple-black......seen here in the company of my parents and their 1981 Lada 1500 estate, second of 3. This Princess, however, was murdered by a VW Polo in early December 1990......which was a real shame. I'd have another, they are so comfy!
seth
Some more London based spottage. This is local and appears earlier in this thread I expect but took another photo as I wandered past a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if it was coincidence but I saw two old J-cars at Vauxhall on the same night. Only got this one on camera though. Mini "Hightower" edition Middle of the day, Victoria, Central London is the obvious place to see a Chevette! A Herald with mum a the wheel and two kids inside The rest are from today. I went to the Model Eng exhibition at Sandown Park which wasn't that great and the car park was distinctly bare of decent spots too. Only this tasty Triumph. I err, took a detour from the Kingston one way system as I missed my junction. Worth it though! Dolly, a pair of VWs And hang on is that a nice Victor over there. No, not a Victor. A Holden perhaps? Lets take a closer look. OMG! Kapitan! I obviously stopped the car and had a proper look. The owner was inside cutting hair. Real nice "rockin'"guy. He believed it is the only one in the country on the road - may be another saloon in bits somewhere.
