Father Ted
Can anyone recommend a set of bike waterproofs that are just that - waterproof. Current apparel includes one Alpine Star Jacket - leaks like a sieve despite washing and re-proofing RK sports all in one - fine, but leaks at elbows and crotch Some obscure branded double layered waterproof over kecks - leak at crotch if its very wet One of those unbranded hooooege Hi-Viz full length coats - leaks at elbows only and is so far the best piece of gear I have (despite offering bog all crash protection) Leather kecks - not waterproof in any way shape or form at all Sidi Boots - dont even go there - you only have to look at a puddle and I have wet toes. Getting very pissed off at spending ££££ on supposedly good stuff to find that cheap crappy contractor wear stuff is actually more better at keeping out the elements at 60 mph. Richard
I used to wear a bin bag and just accept the wet arms. I had a C90 so wet legs were something that happened to other people. The bin bag and C90 combo had me fighting the girls off with a shitty stick. M'coli
Wear stuff to protect your skin from a spill under this, try Paclite stuff over the top.

pogweasel
Want to stay dry? You want kit from http://www.strauss-direct.co.uk/ . I get all my work clobber from there, keep plugging away in all weathers (quite often the fairweather assistant fucks off to sit in the van to hide from the rain). Just don't fall of your bike though, as you'll probably die from having all your skin fall off grating against tarmac.
