Twiggy
http://www.letsrecycle.com/prices/metalsPrices.jspPrice of ferrous scrap seem to be tumbling, maybe people won`t be quite as anxious to send their shite over the bridge now ? What do you think ?
M'coli
It'll probably rise again as soon as the Olympics has finished!

Cavcraft
Good for some, bad for others. Talk is most places have massive stockpiles of old steel and are, or were, holding off until they've cleared out what they have. Olympics did stop some of the interest apparantly but talk is prices expected to rise again soon.I can still get good money for polluted vehicles from scrappies round here so price won't have dropped that much. CortinaDave
local yard has dropped from offering £210 for driven in shite in July to £160 now. Still good money bearing in mind a couple of years ago you had to pay them!
