Had a weekend in town.

These are barely worth a second glance, or a first, when you're in London, I saw four over the weekend, but you never see them anywhere else.

Nice looking Bristol. Again you don't think anything of it because London.

I wonder if they still have that showroom in Kensington? Someone here will know.

The view from our hotel room.

The Jag would very much fit in with our community but that thing lurking with its nose sticking out from under the building certainly wouldn't.

And then this oddity.

French registered crane earning a living in Piccadilly. Is it a Renault? So is it really cheaper or more convenient to hire a crane from France? I guess it's not that far really but there must be crew lodgings and board etc... And will it still be possible after brexit?

That's probably because the range of the G-swiz Noddycar wouldn't get you far out of London. Neither would it be safe on the open road.

They're not safe on any roads but the range thing makes sense. If you could only buy them in London you wouldn't be able to drive one far enough to get out of London. I'm guessing sales have dried up since proper electric cars have taken off.

This rocked up next to me on the traffic lights but as I was fumbling for the cameraphone the filter arrow turned green and it was off. Giffer-tastic small balding owner

(no apologies for the period furry dice accessory - these were bought for my first ever car in the late 1980s and therefore are an honourable addition to the Streety, especially after somehow finding them after all these years without even looking for them)

Very clean Audi 80 seen in Derry last week.

Neatly folded tartan rug on the rear parcel shelf would indicate giffer ownership.

Also a Canadian-plated Focus ST close by. Left-hooker and all. Bound to be a story there.

Fiesta with Far-East pretensions, seen in Ballymena yesterday. Not seen one of these 121s for quite a while.

Some sad-looking vehicles facing an uncertain fate, near a petrol station being redeveloped.

And a fairly beat-to-shit Proton Gen-2 noticed locally.

Fleet Services northbound.

The driver was sat in it so this is my attempt at covert surveillance.

I was parked a few spaces away from there... last year.

When I got the Mercury and it was cleared for driving home, first real drive in this country, I broke down in that space just above the Mustang’s boot (trunk) I remember it well!
