'Very dood conditar':lol::lol: Sir Stanley of Unwinshire is not dead after all then?Any old how, £400 for an old Micra with no test is just stupid. I bought one from Retro Rides with full test and even some tax for about £170 or something like that. 1995 and a belting little runner.I stand to be corrected here but I think our OP is a bangerboy from another forum. Nowt wrong with that of course but unlikely to be selling many cars on here I'd have thought at those kind of prices.

Trouble is mate at that kind of money youi're not going to get rid of them.Micra with full test and top order should fetch about £650, a bit more on a good day but being realistic with the mileage your's has and no test you'd be looking at about £150.I'd advertise it as is for £250 ono and see what happens, obviously that's just my personal opinion.

Sorry to be blunt, but if you need the cash then the weighbridge is going to be the quickest and most hassle-free option. Either that, or get the welder out on the Primera and bosh MOT's on the pair of them. The Micra might even go straight through, and the £50 you've outlayed will be more than recouped from the enhancement to the selling price conveyed by a full ticket.

One less micra on the road being driven at 30mph in a 60 zone has to be a good thing,

 wonder why that is so often the case with Micras? Doesn't matter who's driving or what generation of Micra it is, they're always in the way! It's uncanny! (not to mention bloody annoying!)

You could say the same thing for Rover 25s and 45s, Volvo 440s, Toyota Avensisesises, Ford Fusions, Kia Rios - the list goes on and on...

nah, nothing pootles along like a Micra! The others might be guilty of it too but at least I can recall incidences of them being driven fast, I can't recall ever seeing a Micra break any speed limits! The fact there was never any proper 'hot' Micra produced (just the odd example with tacky bodykit) or marketed over here speaks volumes about it's intentions. It's the epitome of 'old dear's shopping trolly, nervous driving school or careful first timer' driving! Micra's are to slow driving what X5's are to school mum's! In my opinion anyway. Everytime I come up behind a Micra, especially the MkII's it's invariably going much slower than I would wish too, without being silly about it.

The crisps would have lasted longer too  Mr Ritmo, sorry I can't help you there. I got bored and bashed 'avatars' into a search engine and found this one. I'm not much of a film person at all (in fact I probably only watch one film a year at most) so wouldn't know if had anything to do with Indiana Jones sorry.
